P1 Serious Driver System
Active braking, stronger feedback and a 49-inch OLED display.
A deeper and more adaptable experience for drivers ready to take sim racing seriously.
The P1 Serious Driver System is designed for someone who no longer sees sim racing as an occasional game.
It is for a driver who values realistic feedback, expects to spend meaningful time behind the wheel and wants a system that will remain relevant as their experience and ability develop.
Compared with the P1 Essential System, it provides a substantial step forward in steering performance, pedal technology, adjustability, visual immersion and the physical connection between the driver and the car.
The system uses the Moza R25 Ultra direct drive wheelbase. It produces 25 Nm of sustained torque and includes an integrated torque sensor, delivering the power, speed and fidelity expected from top-level direct drive hardware.
This is a highly rational high-performance choice. It provides an exceptional relationship between price and available torque without asking the customer to pay purely for rarity or brand positioning. There is enough power and overhead to reproduce the steering character of very different cars while retaining detail during high-load situations.
The Moza CS Pro steering wheel remains the wheel of choice because of its versatility. Its round shape works naturally across road cars, GT cars, rally and drifting, while the integrated display can show important telemetry directly on the wheel. This allows unnecessary overlays to be removed from the monitor, producing a cleaner and more immersive view into the virtual cockpit.
One of the defining features of the P1 Serious Driver System is the Moza mBooster Active Pedal Set.
The most immediately noticeable characteristic of an active pedal is that it can physically communicate information from the car. The driver can feel ABS intervention, traction behaviour, vibration and other telemetry-based effects directly through the brake pedal rather than relying entirely on visual or audio cues.
This is impressive, but it is not the most important advantage.
The greatest benefit of the Moza mBooster is the speed and flexibility with which the pedal can be configured.Traditional high-end pedals frequently require springs, elastomers or other mechanical components to be removed and replaced when the driver wants to change pedal resistance, travel or response. What should be a simple adjustment can turn into a 30 or 40-minute mechanical process.
With the Moza mBooster, resistance, pedal travel, response and braking characteristics can be changed through software in seconds.
The driver can move from a road car to a GT3 car or a single-seater using saved profiles rather than dismantling the pedal set. We help prepare the initial presets around the cars and disciplines the customer intends to drive.
This flexibility is particularly useful during different types of sessions.
During a long endurance race, the driver may choose a lighter brake profile to reduce fatigue and maintain consistency. For a short qualifying session, the pedal can be made firmer and more precise to support threshold braking and trail braking. When maximum realism is the priority, a profile can be created to reproduce the resistance and travel expected from a particular type of car.
The driver is therefore not forced to accept one mechanical pedal configuration for every car, every race length and every objective.
For shifting, the system uses the Heusinkveld MagShift Sequential Shifter. Its magnetic mechanism provides a defined, satisfying and highly consistent action with every shift. It delivers the mechanical character expected from a serious sequential shifter rather than feeling like a lightweight electronic switch.
The Heusinkveld Handbrake uses load cell technology with adjustable resistance and travel, giving rally and drifting drivers a controllable and repeatable input. Both products are beautifully engineered, visually refined and entirely appropriate for a simulator at this level.
The visual experience is upgraded dramatically through the 49-inch QD-OLED ultrawide monitor.
Its width fills considerably more of the driver’s peripheral vision than the 34-inch display in the P1 Essential System, increasing the perception of speed and creating a much stronger impression of sitting inside the car. The QD-OLED panel provides deep blacks, strong contrast, rich colour and extremely fast response.
The monitor remains mounted on a separate freestanding monitor stand, preventing movement and vibration through the cockpit from reaching the display.
The complete system is built around a rigid aluminium-profile cockpit and a proper fibreglass bucket seat. The steering, pedals and seating position are configured around the driver, and the structure is strong enough to allow the 25 Nm wheelbase and active brake pedal to operate without unwanted flex.
The included performance PC with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 is selected and configured to run the major racing simulators properly on the 49-inch QD-OLED display.
We install the required drivers and supported simulator software, configure the wheelbase, pedal profiles and controls, optimise the graphics and field of view, and prepare the initial software profiles around the customer’s preferred cars.
Software and simulator licences are not included unless expressly stated, but the installation and configuration work is part of the service.
The P1 Serious Driver System is not simply the P1 Essential System with more expensive components. It changes the character of the experience.
The steering is stronger and more detailed. The brake pedal can adapt instantly to different cars, sessions and objectives. The wider QD-OLED display provides a far deeper sense of presence. The controls feel more mechanical and deliberate.
It is a carefully balanced complete simulator for someone who wants high-end performance, intelligent adjustability and serious immersion without paying for complexity they may never use.
Price and customisation
Price: £6,770
The price includes the complete system and all components described in the agreed specification, together with assembly, installation and initial configuration.
This specification is a carefully developed starting point, not a fixed package. Every component can be changed around the driver’s preferences, the available space and any compatible equipment they already own.
A suitable existing PC, monitor, wheelbase or other component can be retained and removed from the price. Alternatively, the system can be expanded with a second steering wheel, alternative controls, a button box, different seating or another display configuration.
Tell us what you are looking for, and we will prepare a system specification around you.
